Professional development FAQs
Common questions about consultation, professional development and team workshops for health professionals and organisations.
Who is this for?
Health professionals and teams who want practical, creative ways to engage clients and support their own practice, including:
- speech pathologists
- occupational therapists
- psychologists and counsellors
- art therapists and other creative arts therapists
- teams and organisations looking to upskill
Do I need to be artistic?
Not at all. The approaches are simple and practical, designed for any health professional, whatever your creative confidence.
Do you work with teams and organisations?
Yes. I offer tailored workshops and upskilling sessions for teams, delivered online. They can cover creative tools for working with clients and practical ways to look after your own wellbeing at work.

What’s the difference between consultation and professional development sessions?
Consultation is focused on your situation. Bring a particular client, group or challenge you’re working through.
Professional development sessions are more structured, and focus on building a specific skill, such as using a creative activity to help a client regulate, or running engaging online groups.
Is this clinical supervision?
Not at the moment. I’m a Professional Member of ANZACATA (AThR) working toward my Supervision qualification. What I offer now is consultation and professional development: practical, experience-led sessions on using creative approaches in your practice, including online.
If you’re looking for a registered supervisor, I’m happy to point you toward one while I complete this qualification.
Are sessions one-off or ongoing?
Either. Some people book a single session around a specific challenge. Others set up a regular, ongoing arrangement.
Do sessions count toward CPD?
These sessions aren’t formal supervision hours. What I offer is consultation and professional development, rather than accredited supervision.
Many professional bodies do allow peer consultation and PD activities to be self-logged as CPD, so you’re welcome to include our sessions in your own record. I’d recommend checking your specific requirements with your registering body to confirm.
How much do sessions cost?
Individual sessions are online, run for 50 minutes and cost AUD $100 per session.
Team workshops are priced by enquiry, depending on your team and what you’d like to cover.
How do I book?
Sessions are booked by enquiry rather than instant online booking. Send me a message and I’ll reply directly to find a time.
Still have a question?
Send me a message about your work, or your team, and what you’d like to focus on. I’ll reply directly.
