Art therapy in Australia
Art therapy for when words and feelings are hard to find
Neuro-affirming online art therapy for children, teens and young adults living in Australia. Individual and small group sessions, paid privately or through a plan-managed or self-managed NDIS plan. No art experience needed.

Sound familiar?
What families have come to me with
- Big emotions that feel impossible to name or explain
- Meltdowns or shutdowns that leave everyone exhausted
- Selective mutism, or a child who goes quiet in certain settings
- Anxiety around social situations, school or changes in routine
- Feeling like talk-based support hasn’t quite landed
- Wanting connection and regulation tools that don’t feel clinical
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

Why art therapy
A way in that doesn’t rely on words
Art therapy gives young people a way to process and regulate without having to explain themselves in words. That’s often exactly what talk-based approaches ask of them, and where they get stuck.
Your child doesn’t need to be good at art. They don’t need the right words. Curiosity and a safe space to explore are enough.
I’m Lou Lou, and I’ve worked in trauma-informed therapeutic roles with neurodivergent children and teens for more than eight years, in both community and clinical settings.
