For people living outside Australia

Creative wellbeing

A gentle, creative space to reconnect with yourself

Gentle, therapeutic creative sessions for adults, young people, families and groups living outside Australia, shaped by my training as an art therapist. Go at your own pace. No art experience needed.

What it is

What is creative wellbeing?

Creative wellbeing is a gentle practice that uses creative processes to support your emotional and mental wellbeing.

It isn’t about being artistic or making something to show. Creativity becomes a way to slow down, reflect, express and make sense of what you’re living through, especially when words feel limited or overused.

It’s for people who want support without labels, pressure or performance, and a more human, spacious way to care for themselves.

What matters most

  • Process over outcome. What you make matters less than how it feels to make it.
  • Curiosity over fixing. Nothing about you needs fixing. We explore with interest.
  • Presence over productivity. Time to simply be here, without a to-do list.

What to expect

What a session might look like

Sessions are online, 50 minutes long, and shaped around you or your group. A session may include:

  • A gentle check-in
  • A creative prompt to explore, such as writing, drawing, collage, movement, metaphor or working with objects
  • Time to reflect, quietly or with some guidance
  • Optional conversation about what came up
  • A grounding close, to help you return to your day

There’s no right or wrong way to take part, and sharing is always optional.

Who it’s for

For a life that doesn’t fit a template

It can look like any of these. If something sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

  • Feeling burnt out and running on empty
  • When your creative spark has gone quiet
  • When pain is taking over your days
  • Building a life far from home
  • Holding everything together while your partner is away
  • Feeling stuck or flat, without a clear reason why

How it can help

What sessions may support

  • Settling your emotions and your nervous system during stress, distance or overwhelm
  • Gentle self-reflection and insight, without pressure or expectation
  • Reconnecting with yourself when you’re living with chronic pain, navigating time apart or feeling stuck
  • Finding steadiness within change, uncertainty or complex life dynamics
  • Processing transitions, like moving abroad or adjusting to a new culture
  • Managing work and life stress, and helping to prevent burnout

No creative experience needed. Curiosity is enough, and even that can arrive slowly.
